ILBCF to host Criminal Justice symposium in Metro East

Alorton – According to the NAACP, African Americans now constitute nearly 1 million of the total 2.3 million incarcerated population while only accounting for 13 percent of the population. The numbers are indicative of the need for change. The Illinois Legislative Black Caucus Foundation (ILBCF) is hosting a Criminal Justice Symposium to explore different initiatives that have been suggested and implemented, and search for solutions to end the inequality.
